You invite me out to eat or to a movie under the premise you want to talk and be friends, so I play along and slip on my artificial charm. We talk and laugh about our odd teen years and finally we go out to marsh and sit. This is where you went so dearly wrong.

You switch the subject to an old friend, we will call him Josh, and ask why I did what I did to him. Feeling my hands shake, I smile and tell you that sometimes people don’t work out. You pressed further, raising your voice, wanting to know how I supposedly hurt him. I bite my lip and try to tell you that I couldn’t stand him abusing me when he was on drugs. 

You go on and call me a whore and a piece of shit. At this point my masks are laying at my feet as my angers boils to my eyes that I can only imagine are burning with rage. I take a sharp breath in and let out a few words so calm a pin could drop, “you don’t realize who you are messing with.” You only scoff and I yell for you to shut the fuck up.

I let go and everything I have held in lets lose. Reaching for your throat I clench my nails around your wind pipe as you scramble to rip my hair. I keep a tight grip on your throat careful to not lose contact and ward of your blows and kicks till I have you subdued.

By this point you are beginning to see just who and what I am, I can see the pitiful fear in your eyes and you struggle to breathe under my tightening clutch around your throat. Your ankles and wrists bound with zipties you are virtually helpless. There is blood dripping from the few scratches you made on my face. 

I smile down at you and reach for the pocket knife I carry in my coat pocket. Your mouth now gagged with your own scarf, I proceed to tell you who Josh really was and the truth behind what happened. While doing so, I carve wonderful works of art into your naked quivering body. You screamed way too much, it was rather annoying. Your body was finally beautiful by the time I finished telling my story. 

I turned to you one last time and said these words, “the problem is, now you know what happened and I just can’t let you go. So I tell you what, we will play a little game, for every time you said I was a whore or slut, I cut a major artery. So, I can name 15 times, but let’s just get this done in one cut, ok?”
