So my short 2 week Peruvian vacation has now ended! I had a great time with my parents and @paulinacasatiart ! I am beyond grateful for being able to reconnect with my original homeland again! We spent our last couple of days back in Lima checking the cool murals in Miraflores and the “Gold Museum” which has my favourite collection of Pre-Colombian artifacts (along many mummies). I also got to see the new (very touching/trippy) Avatar movie and had a lunch with some old friends from my youth. I’m officially down with #Bogota - aka I like it a lot! Yesterday was my first day here, and as you guys know I live for culture shock, but Bogota, while different in its own special way, feels very familiar. I keep getting #Montreal meets #MexicoCity vibes. I love both of those cities, so in my opinion this is a great thing. This shot was taken at #MuseoBotero, which I highly recommend when visiting Bogota. Yesterday We also hit up the #MuseodeOro, #ParqueNacional, #PlazaDeBolivar, and ate at #Bao for lunch, which was delicious Japanese food. For dinner we ate at #elcielo! This place was increíble. They play with your senses in such a fun way that at one point we were washing our hands in melted chocolate, raw sugar, and coffee grinds, and then told to lick our fingers. So fun! A must when in Bogota! Finally we went to #Dynasty - a Kiss theme rock rock bar, and ended the night at Theatron dancing our butts off. A lot of you guys told me to go to Theatron, and after experiencing the wild giant 13 room venue, I get why. Another must for sure as it was a freaking blast! And we randomly / luckily saw @allaboutvalentina put on an epic show.
