In the last 6-7 weeks I have written:
45,000 words of Clex/Supermen fanfic
36,400 words of Spideypool (how did that happen!?)
19,800 words for Harry Potter fic (mostly Drarry)
2,800 word if Hunter and Hellblazers (sorry team - I still haven’t managed to get more than a few eps into the last few seasons of SPN)
27,000 words on my original fiction
That’s 130,600+ - an average of well over 3000 per day.
That’s more than I wrote in all of 2018, 2019 and 2020 combined.
In ALL of 2020 I wrote less than 6000 words of creative fiction. I’ve written more in the last two days than all of 2020.
I wish someone had told me this was possible, to get it back like this, after almost 2 years of desperate depression. I hope I never take my creative muse for granted again but know I probably will. I’ve also realised that I need to pay attention. If I feel less creative it is also a sign that I’m not well.
This isn’t a PSA. It’s just a celebration. I feel like me again! Yay.
