I've seen a lot of people speculate about murderbot and the other sec units experience with their new found freedom. And I want to bring up my thoughts about 3.
3 was shown some of murder bots memories by murderbot 2.0 and then decided to hack its gov mod. Afterwards 3 seems pretty attached too murderbot offering assistance and keeping close. (I listen to the audiobook so I can't pull up specific sections.)
Then in the recent book, murderbot kind of laments that it likes nonfiction stuff and towards the end points 3 to talk to Holsin. So here is my fan theory. 3 media taste lends towards biographies and nonfic more than media as murderbot. 3 is awakening on a ship of scientists. Who will interact and explain concepts 3 has trouble getting. (Science wise. Human experience is confusing at the best of time).
