Just Perpetua serving that's it :0
You know 2 characters who will never interact I'd love to see what happens when they meet each other? Remus Sanders and Kusuke Saiki. So many possibilities and I wanna see all of them.
Ik that everyone wants trial angst but I truly don’t think there was ever a trial and that it was settled on a plea deal (community service/ probation) bc most cases in the us don’t go to court
i mean canonical to the ec there was a trial xDD so regardless of actual realism it def does happen. i think the reasoning is that cass refused to believe that what actually happened happened, which gives us a lot of additional layers re: her completely ignoring what was happening to andrew under her roof, as well as their final reunion. like fuck. it fucking sucks. but also most cases in the us don’t go to court bc they are stuff like traffic offenses, minor drug offenses, petty theft, property dispute, civil disputes, business disputes etc. here’s a crime statistics graph i found
and this doesn’t include civil suits at all. note how murder charges are right at the bottom. according to the resources i’ve found, only 2% of criminal defendants go to trial... because 90% of them plead guilty. aaron is obviously not going to plead guilty so this already makes him an outlier, out of them, 8% had their cases dismissed, i highly doubt a judge is going to look at a legal dispute like the one going on btw cass aaron and andrew and just go ‘yeah these people can sort it out nothing we need to do here’
i think what’s more interesting is looking at what the fact that there /was/ a trial tells us about cass.
So I'm over at my grandmother's place today. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but I'm a sort of spiritual magnet in terms. Mediums have directly approached me about it in fact
Anyway, even since my grandmother moved into this place I just never really wanted to stay long. I figured I just didn't want to leave the house or I didn't want to be social. Just coming up with excuses to explain it.
Today after we've been here for awhile, my siblings rush up to me going "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY! Come help investigate!"
Basically, a window was discovered on the outside of the house. It's partially covered by long plants and its not a surprise it wasn't noticed in the years my grandmother and uncle have lived here.
It's the basement too, so yeah. My uncle lives down there, and it's a pretty nice place. Although he's not the best mentally so whenever he'd say something weird we'd brush it off.
My grandmother lately has been complaining his TV is always on and having arguments. He says he turned it off always.
I'm getting off track. The window is pretty small and just built into the foundation. The house is old, like, 1960's old, so it's not really surprising it's barely even above the ground, let alone getting light to it.
Upon closer inspection the window is blacked out. You can't see inside.
So we go inside to investigate. Look around and find that one part of the area downstairs is smaller than what it could be. It's turned into a closet and the walls only seem half-finished. It also connects to the bedroom closet and that has a really bad paint job and tape left on even after the paint job was done.
Knocking on the walls in the first closet reveals its not only thin but hollow behind it.
None of the family but my grandmother and a neighbor was down there when it happened but there was a crawlspace behind the wall. Nobody went in.
Like, what's back there? Was it an attempt to cover up murder? Is the odd stuff that happens here due to spirits trapped within the house?
I dunno, give me your ideas.
