𝚂𝙷𝙴  𝙷𝙰𝚂  𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙾𝙽𝙶  𝙾𝙿𝙸𝙽𝙸𝙾𝙽𝚂  𝙾𝙽  𝙼𝙴𝙻𝙺𝙾𝚁  ,    he’ll  just  have  to  forgive  her  .   daff  looks  sheepish  ,   tapping  her  ashes  into  the  tray  on  the  coffee table  and  pointedly  choosing  not  to  make  eye  contact  .

she  talked  too  much  again  ,   she’s  sure  .   and  then  eddie  speaks  up  ,   says  frankly  the  oddest  thing  she’s  ever  fucking  heard  .

There’s a blank expression on her face, the temptation to ask if she’s ever been anything but serious. She’s always serious. It wasn’t like she was asking him anything crazy, well, it might’ve been crazy coming from her. So, in a way she understands his reaction. “I will pay you -- just, give me a damn ride Munson.” The impatience evident in her voice.

It was either walk home, or get a ride. She was picking the easier option. Her original ride had left her behind, leaving her stranded. She was annoyed, angry, cursing at the sky until she saw him. Stomping right up to him, Madeline, without any proper introduction, had dammed a ride. Which, it definitely came off as rude, not a surprise coming from her. But Madeline had no other options. She’s sure he’d rather let her walk then take her home, assuming from his response, but there was a small part of her that hoped he was feeling chivalrous.

After a small moment of silence, Madeline just sighs. Defeated. “Never mind, i’ll just walk.” Throwing her hands up in frustration, Madeline spins around. Slowly, but angrily, starting her journey. It’ll take her a good hour, but it was her own fault for not driving herself that morning. 

A vision of weirdness that he couldn't begin to explain stood before him like something straight from the Twilight Zone. He wanted to poke it---him? The being that looked eerily like himself, except for a few subtle differences. He didn't have that freckle beneath the left side of his jaw, and the other guy's jewellery was different to his. Their clothes looked almost identical, and Eddie wished he'd worn his red plaid shirt if only to highlight other differences between them. It was fucking freaky.

"Uhh....hi?" Reluctance seeped into his voice, combined with an awkward little wave. Smooth move, Munson. How else were you supposed to talk to your maybe doppelganger? "First of all, what the fuck?" He threw his hands up in part disbelief, part exasperation. "Is this some Upside Down bullshit? Because I've seriously had enough of it, dude." Considering that the form before him could be some Vecna shitnanigans, Eddie decided against poking the fella. He needed his fingers for playing the guitar, among other various finger-based activities.

"Just give me some sort of sign I should start running." Because that he'd do, gladly.

                                                            when it comes to keeping the underworld and it’s people a secret laszlo - to put it kindly - is a bit shit at it. though that is how most of the vampires in the house are, no need to hide when you can eat people who find out before they can spread the shit. but @munstrum​ has got his interest, and laszlo is not one to turn down attention.

@munstrum​   here’s one that’ll never make it into the yearbook; here’s a couple of beers on a summer afternoon and an arm around gareth’s shoulders, a tribute too honest and too unguarded for the eyes of strangers: ‘you’re, like, my oldest friend, man. and plus, you’re the drummer. we need a drummer. without a drummer, we’d all be lost. our hearts wouldn’t know when to beat. and listen, i gotta thank you, y’know, for being the one to bite when i’m all bark. and you’re super weird, dude. like, no, super weird. in a way that understands my weirdness? … i’m gonna leave this town, but you better come find me. ‘cuz i’m gonna be a rockstar, dude, and i don’t wanna do it without you.’
