I guess you can call me a brand new junkie when it comes to Munkey Junkey, a burgeoning artist and producer with an elusive past whoās made a striking entrance with his single, Look Out Below. One listen and I was sitting up electrified and fascinated by the newcomerās boundary pushing sound on the alt and electronica infused anthem. Look Out Below is described as a powerful reflection of Munkey Junkeyās far reaching musical tastes, with pop, funk, hip hop, and rock tendencies interlaced with its aforementioned electronic sounds. Itās like Robert DeLong and Bear Hands, with a dusting of Flobots and even a pinch of Kanye. On production duty is Archbirds. Look Out Below was mixed by John Davis (Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, Dua Lipa). These are some serious names and a testament to the ear perking quality of Munkey Junkeyās inaugural entry.
