I can’t say I “feel like heaven” after a long day of work and a whole lot of rushed music sharing, but I sure feel like I’m in heaven whilst swaying blissfully to APRE’s melodious lifting ‘Don’t You Feel Like Heaven?’. The hotly tipped UK duo made a striking debut last month with All Yours, immediately making waves with a song inspired by bands like Foals, Tears For Fears, and Bombay Bicycle Club. As promised, APRE has already released their debut EP, The Movement Of Time. ‘Don’t You Feel Like Heaven?’ is another strong statement of intent from the exciting pair, and it showcases a different side to their sound. The far more intimate indietronica and new wavey synthrock ballad describes that feeling of finding paradise in someone else (and the feared precariousness of such a cherished discovery).
