Isn't it funny how you miss summer, so you can wear dresses and skirts and sandals and say goodbye to all those layers, but after a while you miss winter because you really want to layer-up... I felt similar being on maternity leave. I couldn't wait to swap my constant uniform of trainers and jeans for heels and skirts. And then I realised that while I'm still pumping breast milk and have to carry a giant backpack with me every day, that heels are the worst thing that I could inflict upon myself. So I'm still in jeans, but I swapped those trainers for professional flats. And guess what, I miss the trainers! The silver brogues won't be staying on unfortunately and will be swapped for some practical walking boots as we head out to a @nationaltrust property today. I’m never gonna be a size 10 fashion model but I am fed up of my jeans and top mumdrobe combination. I really want to look put together more. I love my clothes that feel like jammers. But just some days when the rare occasion of date night happens or I go for a drink with the girls I’d like to look the best I can. So last week when I nipped into Tesco I came across this skirt. It jumped out at me. I picked it up and took it home. Then I thought s**t what do I wear it with. I searched google for @fandfclothing pink orange skirt.
