The quality of the letters you get in Scrabble/Words with Friends is inversely correlated with how much you want to impress your opponent.
For example, I've been playing the same game with Hundles, my best friend from college with whom I have an intense academic rivalry. I don't think I've had a single consonant over the course of the entire game. Naturally, he is walloping me. It is a massacre.
I'm just saying, the more I like you, the more likely I am to be losing at our game of Words with Friends.
