This past weekend was the first weekend in ages which I spent not getting totally wrecked partying. I was kinda forced to do so because of tonsillitis I had for almost a week but it was much needed rest. On Saturday C. and I went for a long walk with Toby. I didn't mind that it was a bit chilly and a bit rainy, it was an adventure and it felt great. Later that evening I made a fresh cream and strawberry cake so I could take some for C's family next morning, while we were coming over for traditional fry-up. Whilst there, we went for a long, muddy walk in the fields. Tobs was having a time of his life running and jumping through the long grass. The only thing that I'm a bit gutted about is that I didn't celebrate the summer solstice (fuck you, tonsillitis). Shame, really. There's always next year *sighs*
