Thanks to everyone who stopped by at MSP ComiCon this weekend! Â Today a lovely gentleman named Chuck commissioned me to draw my first blank variant cover and I was pretty darn happy with how it turned out :D

Day 2 of the Midwest Comic Book Association - MCBA Spring Con. Cooooooooold, so layered today with my Hufflepuff (St. Olaf) scarf.
Made a new cold gun for MSP ComiCon coming up in a couple weeks where I’ll be debuting the second and final book to the Lovesick series, Lovesick Titans.
I will be revising my Captain Cold look for something a little...sexier. I added extra silver to the gun and glitter to certain spots, such as to cover up the super soaker text, as well as to the muzzle to signify ice residue. I think it looks even better in person and better than my original.Â
I’ll post more pictures in the coming weeks of the new Cold look. I’m a good 20 pounds lighter than that old photo shoot of me and Mr. Crimson as Cold and Heat Wave, so maybe I need another photoshoot for the new look... We’ll see!

Day two begins at MSP ComiCon at the MN State Fairgrounds with Mr. Crimson.
I AM BACK FROM MSP COMICON AFTER ONE THOUSAND HOURS OF DRIVING OH GOD
The people behind the con worked SO hard to make that con work, beyond human limits. Such a creator-oriented con and so much fun! It’s the type of con that should exist more, where a healthy balance of fanart sales + original comics live. And then to top it off, the guest pros were SO NICE. Flabbergasted! (Doug Mahnke helped me bring food down the stairs. Whutta moment.)Anyway, I achieved one dream (Dan Jurgens signed my Tangent books, liked my Green Lantern cosplay and was generallly very nice <3) and overall, it was great. If anybody ever wants to try a Minnesota con as their 1st, definitely try MSP ComiCon! (Table + food are free, if you need convincing! ;) )
