Sometimes I wish I was alive/of age during the bronze age of fanfic when everything was hosted on different individual websites and there was discourse around writing non-canon ships and sock puppet empires and lord of the rings cults… truly the Wild West of my favorite genre and I’m so sad it’s been lost to time 😔😢
