Me at the end of Mr. Crocket: ACTUALLY this film is about how childhood abuse causes long-lasting psychological damage that can turn even the best of intentions sour and the cycles continue to cycle in ways that can hurt the ones we are trying to protect when we don't do the difficult work to unpack how that abuse has shaped us.
