idiot boy ;;
@mpxjacob
she may have perhaps gone a bit overboard with the amount of drinks she poured down her throat earlier, but after the second one, a friend of hers had walked in and then thereâd been three more at least and dionysus knows not to pour her the shitty stuff so here she is, skin pleasantly abuzz and brain properly dehydrated with the alcohol. she feels it more like the off little feeling it is to her own ability, that little bit wrong about herself, but she has come to enjoy that feeling, the knowledge that she could fix it at any point in time but simply chooses not to; chooses to let the alcohol loosen up her boundaries and rigidness. to enable her the chance to feel the air all around her so much clearer, to not think so much while sheâs taking in the night around her.
that is, of course, until there is a disturbance in her peace, something at the edge of her awareness that sits far more wrong than her own discomfort. and so her feet automatically change their course, moving to intercept the walking demigod. as she approaches him, she focuses her gaze a little more to take him in more critically, gaze wandering to the places where she can feel heâs been injured from a fight he had, and when he comes fully into view she sees then what sheâs not fully embraced before.
there walks a son of arawn, one of that many brood of troublemakers, as far as sheâs concerned most of the time, but today she feels some sympathy, and so rather than let him pass her by like she usually would, she tsks at him as she shakes her head, closing the last of the distance between them and taking hold of his head. sheâs gentle with her power, doesnât let it rush into him like a flood, but rather trickle like a little stream, flowing past each of his wounds almost simultaneously and healing them in the span of three heartbeats. when sheâs done, she lets go of his face with one hand, using the other to gently pet his hair.
âidiot boy,â she tells him almost fondly, but her expression is still a little bit judging, considering he allowed himself to get hurt this badly to begin with. since his hands were hurt too, she knows he didnât just take but also fought back, though, and thatâs something at least.
