She didn’t ask Hodr about his kids. Of course not. That would have been too obvious and would probably have only made the god of ice either hide away again or regard her with limitless suspicion. Instead she’s dug out the information about his children on her own. Perhaps that’s even more suspicious or weird, but she doesn’t quite care. She knows Hodr, and she knows that he is not always as capable of care and love the way children need it. She doesn’t think he’d treat them bad, but mostly he’d probably just be… absent.
So she’s made it one of her goals in life to find these children and to make sure they have everything they need. She doesn’t intend to somehow step into the role of their mother, but she does want them to feel at ease with her and to know that if they need anything they can come to her. Like a fun aunt, maybe? Though perhaps that’s not the best way to introduce herself to them.
What the best way is, though, she has no idea either and so just being herself will have to do.
“Hello!” She chimes happily when she enters the Taste of Ink, taking a look around the place for a moment and then focusing on the receptionist. Light hair, piercing eyes, his father’s features prominent in his face now. Oh, she’d recognise Hodr kids anywhere once she’s seen his current face. “Hi. You must be Yuta. I’m Skuld, a friend of your father’s.” She keeps her distance, staying behind the counter and allowing him the space to have a safe zone she won’t just barge in on, even if she did barge into his workplace.
“I just wanted to see how you were doing and make sure you have everything you need. I know Hodr isn’t always easy to approach, but that doesn’t mean you should suffer for it.” She shows him an easy smile and then lets her gaze go around the place again with a bit more attention before returning to him. She waits a moment then, to see if he would like to say something himself.
Yuta had been scrolling through his phone looking through SNS for a while now. its a rather slow day today at Taste of Ink. Not many walk ins today just those that have appointments booked. The demigod really hadn't had much to do but watch the front desk and clean up when he could. Especially to keep the place nice and sterile. So when a women walks in with a rather chipper tone he's more than a little confused. Soon after mind spinning just with the fact that she knows his father. "You know my god father? Well- I guess I shouldn't be too surprised but..I don't really know him."
The demigod really didn't mean to come off of as rude but he was just..surprised. It was random and he hasn't found a reason to get close to Hodr even if Taeyong wants it so bad. "Sorry.." he says softly and takes a second to pocket his phone. "You're kind of the first person to come up to me randomly just because of Hodr. Most of the time people are coming up to me for very different reasons. It's nice to meet you though."
