Lupin was no amateur when it came to fashion shows. After months on the island, he had finally concluding designing his next collection, and as it was myth-centric, he felt that the park had been the perfect location for the island specific couture. The show was just hours from starting, and Lupin found himself in trouble. While he always had stand-ins for the instances where a model did not show, it was a first for both a model and the stand-ins to not show.

Having sent an assistant to the other side of the island, he had been trying to get a last minute model from the park goers. On an island of gods, the residents all could fit the needs of a model in terms of looks. So, Lupin merely needed to find someone who was willing. And, after calling out his offer, clothes and pay in return for their modeling services for the show, a man approached him.

was it strange for haoyu to be gifting davina something? perhaps, or maybe actually not. he’d been enjoying her company and since she lived right next to him, it was easy to leave her gifts on her doorstep. and whether these gifts were paid for with leto’s credit card.. well, she wouldn’t know and haoyu would argue that they were still his gifts to her because he went through the trouble of picking them, so there. on the day of february 10th, davina would be gifted with a small gift delicately packed in a red velvet bag within a small box. 

inside the bag was a swarovski dragon ornament. it contains all the good elements, like auspicious red and yellow in the form of the zodiac of the year. a tiny note with instructions would tell davina to hang it off a shelf or around the neck of a vase, for good luck. a second gift was a bigger box from purdy’s chocolatier and held a collection of 16 bestselling treats like mini hedgehogs, petit chocolat, himalayan pink salt caramels and other delicious chocolates. an accompanying note scribbled by haoyu wished davina a happy new year of the dragon, and that he would let her braid his hair again whenever she liked.

Among the other gifts at the door, she was pleasantly surprised to see one from the rather dashing demigod who had caught her attention as of lately. Haoyu frequented her mind quite regularly, and so as she read his note, a slight color came to her cheeks. Holding the beautiful dragon ornament in her hand, the demigoddess could tell not only was it of great quality but that there so many places she could put it. Definitely somewhere she could see all the time. The treats would also not go to waste either, and she was happy, too happy, that he had thought of her. 

haoyu was nothing if not stubborn, and he’d had a hard time deciding whether or not to gift the queen goddess something for lunar new year. eventually, he made up his mind and decided that yes, he should, because the goddess had been nice to him despite his attitude and she’d also gifted him something for christmas - which had come as a huge surprise and shock to the demigod. so, on february 10th, haoyu came knocking on the golden palace doors and handed the gift to one of the palace maids with clear instructions to hand over the gift box to the goddess immediately. he stated that his name was haoyu, and that it was a new year’s gift before the demigod disappeared. there was no note with the gift from snackberry’s, which was and arrangement of dried fruits and nuts in a small box. but the attendant would relay the message to her mistress that the person who had gifted her the box wished her a happy year ahead.

When traveling abroad, Vitas found occult shops to be full of interesting information; he had learned a great deal from reading magic and ritual tomes that could not be found in other parts of the world. Jinxxed would be no different. Upon learning of the shop's existence, Vitas opted to use his next afternoon off to visit the establishment and peruse its wares.

Wearing his typical black trench coat that seemed to swallow his waif-like frame in shadow, he entered the store as quietly as he could. A brief pause once the door was closed behind him, he made a quick scan of the place, left eye hidden behind a half veil of tresses that had escaped the small ponytail at the base of his skull. So it was that he he moved to the closest rack of books and began to scan. Some, he had already read, and he did not bother with them. Others, he took into gloved hands and carefully read there, on the spot. To anyone else, it might seem as though he was just browsing, spending only a few seconds on each page, when in reality, he was absorbing the information. One book, two books, three books...

So far, so good. Galaxy games appeared to be quite popular--who knew this island would have a need for such a silly little pocket of fun? In any case, he was glad to see his latest project was doing well. Felix himself did not wear a name tag to indicate just who he was and seemed to blend in with the crowd...were it not for one crucial detail. He was on rollerblades! Yes, that silly little cat was just rolling around the arcade floor, expertly gliding around corners and avoiding collisions with the occasional spin...while simultaneously juggling three bouncy spheres shaped like the dragon balls of the series with the same name.

Despite not being particularly discreet, Yeji still jumped on her feet when the other confronted her recent behaviour. "Oh, hi!" It wasn't like she intended to follow or stalk Haoyu, but the circumstances of the recent days always led to her curiosity take the best of her. The first day she had seen him at Jinxxed and there was a particular detail in the man that caught her attention.

That along with the fact Yeji had very little common sense of what was appropriate or not socially, made her follow him around whenever they'd cross paths. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, but there's something I want to ask." Her voice is gentle, like a truthfully harmless young girl she was. "What is your hair care routine? You have such a lovely hair, I have been too shy to ask so I guess my curiosity came across creepy... Again, I'm sorry."

This was an unexpected development.

Within the walls of her estate grew a vast and beautiful garden, a new and breathtaking scene regardless of angle. Upon the lotus pavilion amid the lake were a couple of fairies--stunningly gorgeous women in flowing dresses playing pleasant melodies upon guzheng and erhu.

What was important to note, however, was that there were NEVER any unsupervised male guests within her Golden Palace, and this one? She had never even seen him before, let alone invited him within--but the magpies had spotted him quickly and caused a scene, loud squawks and frantic circling above this young man's head. Of course, this attracted her attention and, as she was home, she dressed for her home life...and that, was as the royal goddess she was, in fabrics of gold and ivory that billowed about her like ethereal heavenly vapors as she approached the intruder who appeared to disapprove of her birds' persistence.
