Tip #274: TILT DOWN TO BRING YOUR SUBJECT INTO THE FRAME. Entrances are a big deal in theater and movies. There are plenty of ways to bring a character into a picture. Tilting the camera down is not commonly used, but as we see in this clip from “Caterpillar” it can be effective. The secret is having a vertical subject—for example, a tree or a tall building—that invites the camera’s downward movement. “Caterpillar,” directed by UK filmmaker Rob Leach (@robleach77), will soon be featured as the4 Mobile Movie of the Week. #filmentrance #shotoniPhone #framing #movingcamera #tilting #cameratilting https://www.instagram.com/p/CENZsmhJD_D/?igshid=182ty50awvtjc
