.::Final Dress Assembly::. 💙☕️🐰 Wrapping up my Couture De Force Alice in Wonderland wip backlog: After hemming the petticoat (not pictured) the second skirt layer, that the white scalloped trim is attached to, would be sewn into the waist of the dress. The pinafore was also sewn into the waist of the dress, underneath the pink silk waistband. This would keep the pinafore always in place and laying nicely. • Next the invisible zipper was inserted, bodice lining stitched down, sleeves were set, and the dress bottom was hemmed with horsehair braid and topped with a metallic trim. • The butt bow was made using the same @silkbaron Pink Grapefruit dupioni as the shoe bows and is attached at the back waist band with snaps for easy removal. • Thank you for sticking this out with me! I really wanted to share how I made this since I couldn’t this past summer. I hope to get better photos taken of her that aren’t just D23 event photos. I made my cosplay out of thick glitter vinyl the type they use for diner chairs this dress was definitely a labor of love but was worth all the work and effort! 🍔🍧💗

D23 had some absolutely stunning and creative cosplays. I spent the whole weekend mystified by the beauty. The cosplays featured in the mousequerade were all amazing and the winners really were perfect (the pictured Te Fiti and Te Ka).
