Scientists continue pursuing methods of creating bigger fatter tastier chickens. In the process they also accidentally make the chickens more aggressive.

They also accidentally create a virus, a variation of bird flu that sweeps through the country like wildfire. In all the horrors of the pandemic, nobody realises the lab chickens have escaped, breeding like crazy and growing rapidly.

By the time anyone realises the scope of the problem, thousands of chickens the size of raptor dinos are running around eating people.

Years later, settlements have walked themselves off to hold back the flocks of predator chickens, and only a few brave souls dare to venture out.

But there is one, a legend of a woman, who refuses to now down. A daughter of Kentucky who's great with a gun and quick with a blade, Ellie-May Sanders, last descendant of the great Colonel Sanders, is determined to free humanity from fear, and put chicken back on the menu!

Killer Freak Chickens!

Different varieties of chicken enemies-

Swarms of regular sized chickens that attack like piranhas and can strip you to the bone; they're called Flockers.

Human-sized chickens with extra sharp beaks for rapid attacks; they're called Peckers.

Chickens with such thick chest feathers that they're basically armoured against attacks from the front, forcing you to flank or sneak attack; they're called Blockers.

Miniboss roosters with huge fighting spurs; Giant Cocks.

You can collect feathers from various types, and put them on your hat as a little aesthetic. If you collect enough, you can get someone to make you a chicken costume that gives you a disguise effect. Downside is that humans might try to kill you on reflex.

Other chicken parts like beaks and spurs can be made into weapons, like spears or spurred boots for extra damage.

You can find scattered pieces of a very nice white suit across different regions. If you collect them all, you unlock the Colonel suit, which gives a Charisma bonus, but makes you more visible to chickens. Not because they're smart enough to recognise their ancient enemy, but because you're wearing all white in a forest.

You can scavenge and cook meat off dead chickens, with different bonuses depending on the type of chicken and the way you cook it. When you figure out the secret mix of herbs and spices, you achieve Finger Lickin Good.

Multiple weapon and damage types- guns, blades, traps. Different achievements for using each one enough. You can set chickens on fire as an easy way to kill them, but it makes a lot of noise, you can't salvage any feathers, and any meat you get off the corpse will be Burnt Meat, which restores less health.

Most chicken nests will be near farms, grain silos, and other places with a food supply and shelter. If you destroy a nest without taking damage, you earn Fox In A Henhouse. If you can steal eggs without being detected, you earn Poached Eggs.
