Can someone give me resources to mouse genetics? How the breeding, coloring, ect works? I’m fine with just links! I’ve tried looking myself but I’d like good, accurate sources but I’m not sure where to find them.
Mouse babies are 17 days old today and cute and pretty as heck ❤ It’s 7 pups (one is missing in this pic). Of course most of them are males, but I’m keeping the lighter beige one on the very top of the pile anyways. He’s just what I hoped to get to work with! Thinking about keeping the girls and the black/ deep dark sepia male, too, but we’ll see how they grow up.
Can’t wait to get the genetics/ pedigree info from the breeder, as Ginette and both her litters are driving me bonkers genetic-wise. I wanna know how their colors are even possible like that I can’t make sense of it all lol.

Seven days old today! My mom helped me figure out names for the white babs, they'll be called Eeny Meeny and Miny, and the black bab that doesn't have a small white dot (it's also a lighter black than the other but it's hard to tell in the pic) shall be called Moe. I'm waiting to know the gender of the other two black ones before naming them.
She wants to bite me. Shame she has such a bad attitude bc she’s very cute!
