I would def not watch. As an obese person myself I found this show HIGHLY offensive. Wish it would burn.

I totally get this, especially about the first chunk of season 1. In fairness it did stop TELLING us how feminist a show it was as the season went on and just was one, but I'm not saying that to try and convince you to give it another shot. I get that sometimes certain shows just aren't a person's cup of tea.

There is a sort of gender-swap version of Beauty and the Beast. Have you ever seen/heard of Penelope? It's a movie starring Christina Ricci and James McAvoy. She's cursed with the face of a pig, and it can only be broken if 'one of her own kind' can love her as she is.

Nah | haven’t seen yet | didn’t like/gave up | like it | love it | highly recommend.

Body Swap

The only time we ever really see someone touched while in Syd’s body is David in the pilot. Dr. Kissinger touches him a couple of times (helping him off the floor, leading him outside). David doesn’t seem bothered by the touching either time, but he is distracted at the time, so it’s not proof or anything. Walter is touched while in Syd’s body. He is obviously bothered, but I think that’s more due to him being captured so I’m not really counting it.

OK, I rewatched the pilot scene after the body swap and Kissinger directly touches “Syd” on the cheek. David flinches back from that, but he’s really disoriented/confused and doesn’t much like Kissinger anyway. David also touches Kissinger’s hand when he takes the ice pack and doesn’t react to that.
