Introducing Mornen of Mirkwood (OC)

He is the illegitimate son of King Thranduil and a Urchóidi fae.

The Urchóidi are known as the "Dark Fae" or the Corrupted.

Due to their twisted nature they were cursed with Infertility by Yavanna, "The Giver of Fruits". Those who were able to conceive, their children were born sickly and didn't survive long.

In hopes to restore their numbers, the Urchóidi practice blood magic and stole Elven children while changeling with their own. In order for the sacrifices to be successful the children all must come willingly. Many were deceived with their tricks, songs and illusions including the young Mirkwood prince, Legolas who was ALMOST ensnared by one.

A fortnight later, the same fae returned but not for the prince but for the Elven King.

While grieving for his beloved queen, King Thranduil fell into a drunken stupor. While intoxicated the fae appeared to him in the form of his wife and persuaded him to sleep with her.

Ashamed and enraged, King Thranduil left Mirkwood to the Rhûn forest in the east to exact revenge and find the stolen Elven children.

But the journey was unsuccessful for the lost children were hidden from them.

However, nearby the King heard a small cry......
