I am not the best person to answer this, but from what I've gathered, there are a select number of people who have decided to get 'revenge' on Jensen for tweeting that picture with Misha. They've decided to try and bombard Jensen with questions about destiel and other stuff to make him uncomfortable at vegascon. I haven't been on twitter so I don't know what's going on there. I just know that the sunset picture with Misha has caused a shit ton of uproar in the fandom.

There are people on the other side of it too. People who are pissed that Jensen posted that picture. Like they're pissed he and Misha are actually friends??? I don't know, I don't understand all the drama. I blacklisted stuff and am just staying away from it. 

As far as the cons go, some people take them for granted. These cons are a privilege, not a right. The actors do them because they like them. They could easily stop agreeing to do them should it become no longer fun. We need to remember that.
