Made up fic title: I'll Never Be Your Chosen One
Ooo, oooooo
So this would definitely be a Star Wars fic (cheesy, I know) Rogue Anakin AU
Anakin, after getting his hand cut off, has some serious self-doubts about his abilities. Then he his immediately thrown into the Clone Wars, which goes about as well as it could for a semi-depressed teenager with anger issues. Somewhere into the Clone Wars, through some way, he learns that he's believed to be the Chosen One and, understandably, is even more depressed because how can he be the Chosen One if he can't even defeat one sith?
Throughout the wars he loses friends and family, and, around the same time Ahsoka leaves (probably afterwards) decides "fuck this" and leaves to. This leads Obi-Wan on a practical man-hunt trying to find Anakin before he gets himself killed or something. Meanwhile, Anakin is stopping crime lords with his Jedi combat training and not giving a shit about the limits the Jedi set. Along the way, he finds a breadcrumb trail that follows the Sith's history, and through many disasters and discoveries, finds out that "Oh Shit, Chancellor Palpatine is actually the Dark Lord of The Sith, Darth Sideous!" And maybe also uses Sith training to master his rage and become an Utter Badass in the Force. And maybe maybe also tracks down and destroys Sideous' clones.
Cue the Final Act: The Battle of Coruscant (minus Anakin) which, while it doesn't go as well for Obi-Wan, goes better thanks to Plo accompanying him (because Plo rocks), which also results in Dooku surviving (maybe even with his hands!)
After they arrive back on Coruscant, Anakin is there, with lots of evidence damning Palpatine, which he is not above sharing with the rest of the class (the Senate)
Sideous decides Running is better than Whatever The Senate Wants To Do To Him, Anakin chases him, and the two have a Dramatic Final Battle before Anakin kills Sideous. For good. No, really. I am not letting Sideous come back to life.
And everyone (except Sideous) lived happily ever after.
Please send me more, this was so fun to do
