And I definitely support more TOS genderbending that significantly changes the names, on principle— I don't know why this has so aggressively gone out of fashion with genderbending, even when the canon characters have hyper-gendered names entirely aligned with their ostensible genders in the original (I assume there's some tortuous rationale about how giving them comparably feminine names as women is problematic, but idk), so whether you go with my choice or a different one, I do always appreciate seeing people do something with the names!
