I mean really, the season will come around again 😂 I started wondering when mating season is and I read some things (about house sparrows, the ones with the grey head on top) that made me think they were extra cute: . If a male sparrow hasn't found a mate yet, he'll get a head start by building his nest, yelling the whole time to try to get someone to look at him and his nest. . If a bird doesn't find a mate, it can help around the nest of a mated pair to increase the chances it will be chosen as a replacement if the existing mate dies... kind of like an understudy.
