Was this a racially motivated thing? I wouldn't doubt it, Mel faces the Brunt of the racism from the fandom.

HERE'S my issue though:

I've seen more callouts against Caitlyn and Caitlyn stans in the past 24-48hrs than I've seen against Jayvik stans who've had Worse behavior towards Mel in the past Three Years I've been apart of this fandom (like we Literally JUST went over the Mel organ harvesting thing people!). People have been going ON AND ON about how All Caitlyn stans are bad and apparently we're All racist because of ONE person being a little shit; and NOW we're jumping into the "Caitvi's the Worst ship I've ever seen and you're disgusting for shipping it!" like if you're a complete PUSSY who can't handle complex characters and storytelling JUST say that. Because Caitvi? not even in the top 10 worst, and this is coming from someone who used to get death threats for saying Ezaria was shit.

and then there's the irony of people being racist towards Caitlyn calling characters like Vi and Jinx "POC" over her like Those two aren't the most UNDENIABLY WHITE women in the ENTIRE SHOW. like once again trying SO hard to be "politically correct" that you swing and miss entirely.

You two start sharing a room after you two confess your feelings to each other

Bc shiggy is kind of a shy boy, you most likely had to confess first

Sweet baby boy was blushing and itching his neck the entire time, eyes darting back and forth from anxiety

Until you stopped him before he somehow opened up a hole in his throat-

He’d take a little while to warm up to sleeping next to you

He’s afraid of doing something in his sleep that will end up with him turning you into a pile of d u s t

After finding someone so good to him that makes him feel better about himself, he’s afraid of losing you now

He has nightmares of waking up to you crumbling into dust

Desperately trying to cling onto what’s left of you as your dust slip through his fingers

You wake up to him quietly sniffling in the middle of the night

His face is buried between your shoulder blades as you turn around to comfort him

“Shiggy..? What’s wrong, baby…?”

He shakes his head, using the back of his knuckles to wipe the fat tears rolling down his cheeks

He eventually opens up to you in shaky words of the dreams that torment him at night

When he’s done, he’s looking down at his hands with detest in his crimson eyes

You cup his face, bringing his attention back up to you as you give him a soft kiss on the nose, and then on his chapped lips

“There’s nothing wrong with you, sweetheart… We’ll find out something so you won’t have to worry about that anymore!”

After trying to find something that will help him not worry about your safety at night, you got him some artist gloves that work!

Now that he can be more carefree in his sleep, he’s able to start warming up to you now

It starts with little touches on your waist and your upper arm

It eventually leads to Shiggy becoming comfy enough to snuggle his face into your shoulder
