My grandmother threw a hissy fit when she learned I was getting accommodations in college. She thought it would go on my record, so I'd be unable to get a job + 'permanently dependent' (my mom explaining literally none of that's true made 0 impact. People other than her needing help is her big hang-up. Atm she's annoyed that I need help w/ a lot of tasks /even though I'm post-surgery and largely bed-bound/)

Xenobigotry does seem like it would be a smoother fit here. The issue with -bigotry in things like “biphobia” is that “bi bigotry” reds like it’s bigotry from bi people, but I think we words like “islamobigotry” and “xenobigotry” we probably wouldn’t have that problem.

I believe I will use xenobigotry in the future.

  Okay but: they don’t even have the budget for Smaug. Smaug is actually played by a puppet and is only ever seen as a shadow or dramatic outline. They say it’s for Heightening Drama but really they’re just cheap. And/or everything is practical effects (I would also accept a Real Animatronic Smaug ala Jurassic Park as a compromise)    

Say what you will about the prequels, but I really like the way that TPM is so different from the OT in plot structure and setting and scope. People complain a lot about the politicking and the fact that the prequels don’t feel the same as the originals, but I actually find it really refreshing that TPM set up a different kind of story. Whether Lucas’ adventurousness actually pans out and feels coherent is YMMV, but the mere concept of different kinds of stories existing in the same world? Makes the world feel bigger to me.
