Not so much a guilty pleasure but something that might be considered frivolous, given Lexa’s position…

Remember the slinky nightgown Lexa wore to seduce, I mean, thank Clarke for her support at the end of 3x04? Well, Lexa has an entire rack of racy satin numbers that only her handmaidens know about (by some miracle, the few garments that survived intact from a pre-Apocalypse lingerie store). By day she’s “butch” on the streets in practical leather and armour—this is The CW remember, so she still has a full face of makeup on—but in the privacy of her boudoir after dark? Lextra is ultra femme. The clan leaders, generals and ambassadors might lose some respect for their fearsome, stone cold Commander if they discovered just how much she loves the feel of that soft satin against her skin.

Clarke is in denial. Octavia is grumpy. Lincoln is in love. Raven is awesome. Lexa is conflicted. And everyone is potentially too invested in good beer.

I seriously do NOT understand why everyone’s sleeping on a pleasant undoing by @mopeytropey​ because every chapter is a total gem.

The summary and the tags don’t give too much away, but here’s some more info if you want to give it a read! 

My additional tags for APU: comedy, jealousy, Clarke Griffin being a hot mess around pretty girls (mainly just one), food & drink commentary, imagery vivid enough that you can almost taste the Atlantic and feel the sea breeze, (mutual) pining, excellent dialogue

My personal thoughts: The only bar or restaurant-related fic that I’ve absolutely adored. I’ve become so invested in this fic and sometimes I catch myself daydreaming about it. The secondary characters don’t hog the spotlight, but you’ll probably love their appearances just as much as Clarke and Lexa’s. It’s a beautifully-written slowburn and your heart will ache! 

One of my favorite quotes: “When Lexa laughs, it shakes the foundation of Clarke’s house. She swears the rafters shudder and the tides change course. Clarke laughs along without intent, and she hopes this night never ends.”

I’m so obsessed with this underdog fic (literally why is that) that I created a new spotify account and made a fan playlist (which I’ve never done before).
