LOOK AT THEM AT THE 7 MINUTE MARK
MY GOD
Top 5 Anime Characters, Top 5 Dream Vacations, & Top 5 Songs
Top 5 Anime Characters (this is also painful because I'm going to leave people out, but I'mma go with what I'm feeling right now, just live in the moment...)
1. ASUKA LANGLEY SOHRYU from "Evangelion." Maybe it's not entirely fair, since she's actually just my favorite character ever period, but. It's true.
2. SHOUTARO KANEDA from "Akira." No but he was my first anime crush and I'll never let go.
3. MAMI TOMOE (with a side of CHARLOTTE) from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica." As if my icon wasn't enough to go on. Mmm, Mami. Surprisingly unstable.
4. JEAN KIRCHSTEIN from "Attack on Titan." No explanation needed.
5. SOUSUKE YAMAZAKI from "Free! ES." It's like they ripped a character straight from my primal lusts, and then they made him sad. The moment I saw him, I was a goner.
Top 5 Dream Vacations
1. Japan. It's been so long. It's been too long.
2. England. I have so many people I want to see!
3. "That shit is still burning" theme trip involding Brennender Berg and Darvaza.
4. Hong Kong.
5. Middle Earth.
Top 5 Songs
1. The album "A Badly Broken Code" - Dessa
2. "Kings of Medicine" - Placebo
3. "Sugar in the Marmalade" - Leon Lai
4. "Freedom" - Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton ("Django Unchained" OST)
5. "Beacon" - Doomtree
BRUH I haven't seen Chicago yet, but this song is amazing. I need to see this sometime soon
ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪
"ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪: what are your favorite band(s)/artist(s)?"
While I generally say that pre-Green album Weezer is my favorite band, I'd actually put Placebo up next to them now, especially since "Special K" influenced a whole bunch of my ST fics. I still think Bic Runga is flawless, and Rie Fu's first album will always be one of my perfect cds, as will "Crimson" by Alkaline Trio.
What I'm listening to mostly right now, though, is Doomtree, specifically its members Dessa and Cecil Otter. Dessa is probably my number one artist of the past year. I think she's incredible and I'm still heartsick that I borked the date of her April show and missed it.
Here are some songs for those interested:
Weezer: Buddy Holly (linking the official video here because a, it's awesome, b, Happy Days, c, Happy Days takes place in Wisconsin (WI represent)), Falling For You
Bic Runga: Get Some Sleep
Rie Fu: decay (I could only find a live version, sorry)
Doomtree: Beacon, The Grand Experiment
Dessa: Mineshaft 2, Alibi
Cecil Otter: Rebel Yellow, Demon Girl
I also really like Kelly Clarkson from "Breakaway" on. >.>
And just because I can, I've been super fixated on this song for a few weeks now:
Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton - Freedom (Django Unchained OST)

I was messing around on Audacity and I turned the pitch up on this song and he sounds like Yakko Warner, oh my god
What kind of music do you guys currently like?
I really want to buy that album "Songs the Brothers Warner Taught Me," but I'm kind of broke, whoopsies.
I don't even want to just pirate it either because HOT DOG, it's one of those albums that I'd gladly pay for, it's that good.
