concept: i suddenly fall ill in my thousand year old vampire bf's mansion and he takes it upon himself to care for me bc he can't actually get sick. he brings me hot soup (it's boiled over and the chicken is suspiciously soggy; then again, the poor lad hasn't cooked for anyone in centuries) and bunches of lavender he picked on the moors (he regales me with an epic forty-five minute tale of the obstacles he passed to get back to me, most of them concerning rabbits). he stands by my bedside every night and presses an affectionate kiss to my palm that is somehow freezing cold yet blazing warm.
