thanks danny !! i don’t really work with crystals all that much, i just love the aesthetic and i love having them around as decoration and for the good vibes. some of my favorite crystals are tiger’s eye, malachite, labradorite, carnelian, jasper, rose quartz, smokey quartz, and rutilated quartz!! a tarot spread i always use is the twelve card beginning of the year spread, it’s pretty simple. each card represents a month of the coming year and i tend to do it at samhain or the january new year. i also have a tag for tarot spreads which i dip into sometimes!! i also use oracle cards sometimes, my favorite oracle deck which i’ve had for years is the lucy cavendish and jasmine beckett-griffith les vampires deck!! it’s got beautiful artwork and is delightfully eerie and spooky. i do a lot of  kitchen/hearth/cottage stuff which isn’t necessarily specific spells but just helps me to have control over and manifest my environment and the environment of my family and the people i love. i also do a lot of death work involving putting dead creatures to rest and i have a ton of animal graves in my backyard. contrary to that, i do a lot of green witchcraft as well to do with nature and plants. as for actual spells, i tend to lean towards spell jars/spell bundles and i have an enormous stash of spell jars that i made when i was a lot younger before i realized that compostable spell jars were a thing. some of the most successful magic i’ve done has been with spell jars, specifically binding and protection spells. in general, though, i don’t cast an enormous amount of spells, due to energy and fatigue and also just because a fair amount of my craft has to do with physical actions as opposed to symbolism. (there still is an enormous amount of metaphor and symbolism in my craft, but so much of my craft is centered around self care and care of others that it’s very hands on.) i actually would really like to cast more spells than i do but i need to work more on using the energy of the things around me for spells as opposed to my own energy/life force, because i tire out very easily. i think i actually reblogged a post about that recently, which i’ll link if i get around to finding it. anyways, i hope this wasn’t too long of an answer!! don’t worry about asking too many questions, i love to talk about witchcraft so please feel free to start a chat anytime! have a great day :)
