She takes a hold of the bouquet of warm-toned blooms and holds it up to her face for a moment. Brows furrow and lids fall shut in concentration, catching aforementioned sweet aroma. They say the most sacred thing that one can actually touch, taste, see, hear, and smell are things borne from the natural world. And they weren't wrong.

He looks up from the magazine he’d been browsing. Some National Geographic thing - it wasn’t important now.
“What?” He asks as he sets the magazine aside. This is a surprise. He has always seen Vi as… Not perfect, but close. Wonderful. Compassionate. Everything Kane had needed. He loved Vi. Vi loved him. Wasn’t that enough? Hadn’t that always been enough?
Kane stands, covering the distance between them in two short strides before he scoops Vi into his arms.
“Never.” He punctuates it with a squeeze, pressing his face into Vi’s hair. “You’re all I need, just like this.”

“It’s not about sides. It’s about TRUTH,” Marnie replied, crossing her arms.
What she couldn’t understand why he kept seeking her out only to doubt her so heavily and leave without so much as a touch of enlightenment to how things REALLY were. Yes, the practices were strange, and doubt was the first step toward becoming a thiest. Yet, there was only so much she could do about OBJECTIONABLE people. She had read over her literature, spoken to higher beings about it, and the obstacles were clear.
“Once you accept the tools to truly understand the universe, you’d see that too,” she insisted, “You’re being antithesis. Open your mind and you’ll see what I see. You keep coming back here for a reason, you’re not beyond enlightenment.”

the air had gotten chillier, hadn't it? i enjoy winter plenty, mostly because of how beautiful it looks outside. however that icy winter weather always sent a chill through my bones. i can't help but chuckle at virote's demands, shifting as carefully as i can under the blankets. yes, i was told not to move, but the other was far too far away. "but if i stay still, how am i supposed to cuddle up next to you? we should share body heat, shouldn't we, with how cold it is outside?" as soon as i'm close enough my arms move to wrap tight around the other, tugging him as close as possible. my leg snakes between his, wrapping our bodies together. "i could stay here all day, really."
