Rewatched Hero 108 again, so y’know what that means? Monkey time! A lot of these are just self indulgent ideas based off of little things from the show, along with some things that the creator himself has said. (Also because favoritism can be like that sometimes.)

The character with ApeTrully is actually my first ever oc for this show: his mother, The Monkey Queen (still unnamed so just call her by her title). I basically made her off of the wiki information explaining that ApeTrully is the 33rd Monkey King (honestly don’t know where information is from, just trust me bro). In the show itself, we do see previously animal rulers selecting new rulers for their kingdom. The biggest example is with Jumpy Ghostface when he was chosen by the previous Rabbit King to be the new king.

So, I just went with the idea of the Monkeys being ruled by ApeTrully’s mother before it was his turn to rule. Obviously, I don’t know if the creator himself has said anything for who was the previously ruler of Monkey Castle before ApeTrully. For all I know the previously ruler could’ve been another Monkey King, but I can be a little self indulgent as a treat to myself. I went with the idea of there being a Monkey Queen before ApeTrully just solely based on this one off line from The Ghost Ship episode.

I thought it would be fun to have a sort of opposite personality between the two of them. While ApeTrully is more reliant on communication and listening to sort things out, Monkey Queen is more open to physical confrontation and fighting. This is mainly based off what Yang-Ming Tarng said about the Monkeys when it comes to what their main skill is. As for general personality, ApeTrully in canon is seen as quote: “-cheerful, peaceful, trusting, and forgiving.” So, I thought I could have Monkey Queen be more lax, blunt and much more vulgar in comparison to ApeTrully.

I was in the mood for some fun FemMacaque and FemWukong ideas. I don't have any Aus of them, not my best idea but I thought it was kind of funny.

Here's a little info about it in case anyone was interested

Macaque works for a company it's an office job, just sitting and doing work all day filing papers and answering calls. typical office job stuff.

She was working here way before she met MK. MK's never been to her actual home, the dojo was just the place she works out and trained at so she didn't have to go to an actual gym.

Mac rents a one-bedroom apartment on the very top of a building somewhere, it's cheap cuz it's smaller than other rooms in the building, but she found a closed-off apartment room right next to her built-in kitchen pantry by accident, so she has two apartments to herself. she has the biggest room now in the whole Building. (Yay mac)✨

She couldn't find an apartment anywhere near her job so she uses magic to get to work and uses the bus to get back home.

One day Wukong finds out she has a job while at home being bored when MK didn't have training that day and decides to prank call Some Humans for fun, it so happens it's the office place mac works at, she recognized mac voice and quickly hangs up.

Monkey Queen was immediately suspicious of why she had a job when she can just stay in FFM! that maybe it could be a scheme of some sort (and maybe secretly relieved that she was safe and mac still stayed in the city but would never admit it.) she looks up the company she works at, she calls MK to help her find out what Mac could be scheming.

MK knows she has a job just doesn't know where she works, he doesn't like bothering her too much cuz she looks tired sometimes.

Mk's tired of monkey Queen dragging him to sneak around mac offers monkey Queen a better solution, getting close to Mac by helping Mac out and offering to pick her up after work, bring her some vegetables and fruits from her FFM Mountain to save up some on groceries so on so forth just helping out a mac. She begrudgingly agrees.

Mac doesn't use glamor she uses magical items to glamor up so she doesn't waste too much Magic on it, it's her earrings.

Monkey Queen pulls pranks on their coworkers Mac complains about, how they pile their work on her and leave too early how they're just overly unhelpful and never do their work, and how they just gossip all day long. Just annoying coworkers!

MK suggests to Mac to offer monkey Queen to come around during her lunch break and offer to make her a boxed lunch too and just hang out since she's been so helpful. She decides that she could do that, just as a thank you for everything she's done for her. She hesitantly agrees.

MK and Mei plan to make them get along or become a couple they haven't decided on which one yet.🐲🐵 mischievous matchmakers.

I have no idea were to begin with this au but instead of Sun Wukong and Tripitaka and the Journey to the West it's about Macaque and Princess Iron Fan heading east. Why are they heading east? Well long story short after Wukong left Flower Fruit Mountain to join tjttw he was gone for a long time and after several years Macaque chases after Wukong and is pissed when he finds out about the fillet. He does try to kill Tripitaka but Wukong does stop his, after our monkie babies fight it out Macaque tries to get someone from heaven to remove the fillet but is told that they can't. But in the far East of China there is a temple with many magical artifacts including a scroll will an incantation that could remove the fillet. One problem, the artifacts are guarded by a ruthless demon king that doesn't like to share and rules with no mercy. So that explains Macaque is on this crazy road trip but why is PIF tagging along? Well at this moment PIF and DBK have met and fell in love but their families despise eachother in any effort to keep them apart PIF'S family gives DBK a list of impossible trials he must complete to marry PIF. Now you remember that temple of ancient artifacts, well apparently one of those artifacts once belonged to the Bull family but it was stolen and no member of the family was ever able to get it back. PIF task is the travel East, find the artifact, and bring it back.

I'm thinking about adding the Scorpion Queen but there is so much that happens here before and after the tjtte that by the end Macaque is referred to by to Monkey Queen and even Buddha is a litte scared of Sun Wukong and Macaque. Yes Buddha is still stronger but a fight between the three would cause more damage then it's worth. Tell me Tumblr, would you like to know more?
