i 100% plan to finish the fic and i have a very clear trajectory of where i want to go with it, i just don't have the time and i'm a very slow writer </3 it'll probably be done 10 years from now at least....

in the meantime yeah sure i can dm you the doc in a hot second, it's not like my ideas are wholly original compared to the four other monipai fics on ao3 that are like. just different variants of my fic LMAO i'll keep the actual serious ending to myself but basically everything else is on there. spoiler warning!!

These two are a plague that kept returning from the dead just to haunt me...

like you guys (my 2 non-bot followers) have probably know I ship monipai right. "soro what's that" it's senpai from friday night funkin and monika from ddlc lets just get that out of the way i've made my apologies to the yaoi gods

My fic's premise: Senpai inadvertently gets teleported with Monika when she goes from Senpai's video game back to the DDLCverse post Yuri-going-off-the-rails in DDTO, and the game functions as like an abandoned environment where the Dokis' AI are stagnant because they have nothing new to learn/develop from. Senpai accidentally becomes the catalyst for them to develop while Monika and Senpai explore their shared fate of unfortunate omniscience and generally pessimistic life outlooks.

that fic is on indefinite hiatus because i'm in college (last updated june 2023). i just checked the tag again. there are two (decently) new fics in the fandom updated in dec 2024 and feb 2025 (for reference, the third most recent fic is from feb 2024 and there are 9 fics in the tag overall)

i wish i was exaggerating because like. obviously it doesn't take a genius for someone to think "oh what if senpai just went back with monika to her world". that's a pretty easy to conclusion to draw. what's significantly LESS easy is the SPECIFIC mentions of SPECIFIC events that happened ONLY IN MY FIC
