thinking about that bit in God Emperor of Dune when Moneo tells Idaho “Lord Leto has an all-female army because all-male armies are rampant with homosexuality” but then later in the book, Idaho sees two fish speakers making out and he asks Moneo about it and Moneo’s like “eh, no harm done, maybe they’ll grow out of it”
Moneo was really like “We don’t have men in the army because they’d be gay. Instead, I tell myself that our all-female army might eventually stop being full of lesbians. I will do nothing to change this.”
