Hugo- contemplates getting onto Yong about it but doesn’t because he always hated when Donella would get onto him about it because despite being raised by a crime boss, she draws the line at a 12 year old saying fuck.

Donella- it only takes her 5 years to not freak the fuck out when Hugo refers to her as mom (that’s short for her)
I’m thinking about Donella (cause when am I not?) so just bare with me:
So, I think it’s basically canon that Ulla was in her mid twenties when she left to find the eternal library and I think it’s safe to say Don was around the same age if not a little older so she would’ve been like 25-28 ish maybe.
Which would make Don in her like mid forties by the end of 7k which is old enough to start visibly aging but not like fully white hair age.
From this data I can assume:
It was just that stressful raising Hugo.
