Campaign 2 modern but still with magic AU. WOWOWOWOWOOW ok everyone, I’m sure you may have heard of this one, and I’m sure at least some of you, like me, looked at the word count, or the fact that it was a WIP until recently, and moved on. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, it’s so fucking worth it. I was pretty much sold when it was tagged with ‘road trips’, ‘friendship’, and ‘polyamory’, but it’s so much more than I expected. It mainly follows Caleb as he meets up with all his friends (the M9, who know each other from years of summer camp) for a big summer camping road trip. There’s some relationship drama (which is resolved and SO SWEET OMG), and plenty of banter, and interesting and unique relationships between each of the characters, and Yasha owns a truck, and THEN!!!!! The plot of the campaign starts happening! Somewhat changed, as all good adaptations should be, but I VERY MUCH was not expecting that, and it took the story in a really cool direction. The author said they plan to keep writing it at some point in the future, but it’s at a very good stopping point right now, and I HIGHLY recommend it.
