i, for one, am thrilled

Molly actually cries a lot now that I think about it. She cried quite a bit when her dads disappeared, she's cried often over her relationship with Barry and his team and their disappointment in her, she's cried after arguments with Maverick, etc etc. Barry's probably the most frequent cause just because of his position in her life, but Mav's definitely a close second. In the timelines where her dads do come back that causes her a lot of grief because she's such a different person than when they vanished.
