Had a shower thought about this photo from today which is: does yaoi potential correlate with World Cup success?

now you do have a chicken and egg problem bc when a team does better more people will be interested in those players and thus they’re more likely to be leaking all over the pages of ao3 BUT. there is something to be said for it I think because one of the most notoriously difficult things about the international game is how little time the players have with each other compared to the club game and therefore they often lack chemistry…so that spark between players which correlates to chemistry on the pitch also correlates to yaoi potential off it (or on it in this case^).

and I think the evidence is pretty solid, look at that 2010 Spain team…if Spain pull it out this year it’s bc they brought back yaoi heritage
