I've been thinking about how there's an interesting mollcroft dynamic concerning bodies:

Molly: Has seen literally everything. More than you want to know. Nothing shocks her and she forgets what is shocking to others. Meanwhile, she tries and fails to make her own body appealing to Sherlock.

Mycroft: Has a problematic relationship with his body. Its cravings, its weight fluctuations and its limitations. Will wear a lot more and fancier clothes than strictly necessary. He is usually so covered up that when he shows his forearms, it's a big deal.

In their brief and only scene together, they are literally standing over a mutilated naked body. Molly is business as usual, but Mycroft looks at the slab for a bit too long, doesn't he? Morbid fascination, I guess.

who’s the werewolf and who’s the hunter Molly is the werewolf and Mycroft is the methodical hunter who runs a monster hunting service with his brother Sherlock and Sherlock’s best friend John. Sherlock and John do most of the hunting while Mycroft does most of the planning and behind the scenes work. One day a woman comes in with the name of the man who turned her into a werewolf, Jim Moriarty, who Mycroft has a personal vendetta against for reasons he keeps close to the vest. Wile normally he would have Sherlock and John do the hunting, he feels sorry for Molly, the woman who sought his help, and strangely attracted to her as well, and offers to go on the hunt alone.

who’s the mermaid and who’s the fisherman Molly is the daughter of a local fisherman who passed just before her eighteenth birthday, so she gives up her dreams of leaving her village to see the world to take up fishing and support her family. She doesn’t think she’ll be very good at it, to be honest, but she has to try at least. But her first day out the king of the mermaids pays her a visit, offering her all the fish she should ever need for her hand in marriage. It turns out Mycroft had been friends with her father after her father cut him out of a net, and Mycroft has used his magic to go on land and keep an eye on her father and his family an had taken a romantic interest in Molly…much to her delighted surprise. 

who’s the witch and who’s the familiar Molly and Mycroft (and Sherlock) are all witches/warlocks, with Mycroft and Sherlock being hundreds of years older than her. Molly comes from a long line of witches who have kept both Mycroft and his brother as familiars (both are cats…Mycroft is an orange tabby and Sherlock is a stereotypical black cat), and since there’s no way to break the curse they’re aware of, they’ve lent their knowledge to Molly’s ancestors in exchange for being kept safe. It was Sherlock ex-lover Irene who cursed them, and she’s still alive. She’s come to regret her actions and searches Molly out, telling her they can work together to reverse the curse, as it’s a two-person spell. Molly reluctantly agrees and Irene, true to her word, reverse the curse with Molly, restoring Mycroft and Sherlock to their human forms. Sherlock and Irene reconcile, but Mycroft said he would prefer to remain by Molly’s side for the rest of her life, if she would have him, as he had fallen in love with her.
