Thank you!  I haven’t sat down for five minutes yet!!  But it’s all been for me (going to pick up my cake, going to pick up pizza, I swear I’ve been out of the house more today than I have in the entire last year total) so I can’t complain :)

Thanks @mollage - we’ve got a two-year window to decide if we can afford to try to sue her, but at the moment she’s beginning to cooperate (I texted her that we need her homeowner’s insurance information so we can get the ER bill paid and she said she’d rather pay out of pocket than file a claim - so apparently either way she intends to pay it, thank god).  If she minds her manners real good and proper and Little recovers with no complications, she might avoid a lawsuit.  I dunno though, I’ve still got so much mom-anger boiling that I’m going to withhold any decisions on that for a while.  Right now he’s drinking his godawful antibiotic cocktail and he’s a very unhappy little man...so yeah, no, I’m not forgiving anything just yet :/

I’m going to call the health department Monday and find out what all this 10-day quarantine entails as far as the dog is concerned, because when we got home a little while ago that beast was outside on their deck, yapping its damn lungs out at us like it always does.  I was under the impression it was supposed to be kept indoors for the duration of the quarantine.  If she’s already breaking the rules I’m going to own her ass, I stg.

Thanks @mollage!  I’d lost track of time entirely as far as updating that fic, I was shocked when I looked and saw it last updated in October of 2019.  I still can’t believe that’s correct but it did motivate me to do something, at least :)  I hope to finish it entirely in the next couple of weeks, there are only three more chapters left on it.

Thanks @mollage!  I guess I posted it at a really crappy time on a really crappy day, but people were begging me to so I did - I never learn, do I?  lol...I gotta quit that and just stick with my normal schedule, I get what I deserve every damn time and yet I STILL NEVER LEARN!! :P

Yeah.  I keep asking around to see if anyone else is having this problem but it seems so random.  Some people have told me they can’t get a tag or notification to save their life and others say they’re having no problems at all.  Some folks on mobile are having a rough time with everything on the site and some swear the desktop version is possessed by the devil but have no trouble with mobile.  So I dunno...I haven’t seen any other posts from people with taglists complaining about this issue but of course that doesn’t mean they’re not, I just may not be seeing it.  But it does seem like the last big update to the site just royally fubar’ed pretty much everything.  I do my updates and taglists from desktop.  I have no clue what, if any, difference that makes.

The past week in here has made it obvious why so many people have disappeared suddenly - the site has been all but unusable for a lot of us and it’s frustrating.  And when you rely on it working properly for things like getting your work out and into the public eye, it’s sorta devastating when it doesn’t.  Your stuff doesn’t get seen, response drops, and the kneejerk reaction for writers and artists is to automatically assume their work just sucked.  That’s where I am at the moment even though common sense tells me it’s probably something else.  Or maybe it just really did suck lol

People really should just subscribe to authors/fics at AO3 itself and take tumblr notifications out of the equation except for as a backup.  They’re too untrustworthy and I’ve rarely ever heard anyone say they didn’t get an AO3 sub notification.  I subscribed to a couple of my fics to keep an eye on the reliability and those emails always come.

Sometimes what makes us happy doesn’t necessarily make someone else happy, but it’s all about letting people be happy however they see fit, isn’t it?  As long as their happiness isn’t dependent on the misery of others, live and let live :)
