#moles?

I'm F!14, and I've had periods since I was 9.

I recently tried to trim down there and I did really well. The issue? I found a mole, about ~3 millimetres in diameter. My grandmother had stage four cervical cancer so I'm worried.

I also have sporadic freckles, and the mole doesn't hurt at all, and it doesn't "pop" like a pimple. Should I be worried?

Here's the thing, Anon: I can't tell you if you have cancer. A mole isn't inherently a sign of cancer; many people have moles all over their body and it doesn't mean they all have cancer.

What I'd suggest is simply getting it checked out if you can and if you can't, don't worry about what you can't change.

I know this is an okay article about what type of moles actually are common for people with cancer but even if yours is, unless you can get it checked out, my advice is do not obsess over it!
