When I cry or lose or bruise, so long as I am still alive, nothing is ultimate. So long as there is still a tomorrow, a next moment, there is hope, there is change, and there is redemption. What is lost is not lost forever.

That's the thing about the people of presence, and the open hearted. When they love, they love fiercely. Completely. That is what they offer. The whole thing. And when they love, they accept all of you. They will love the beautiful parts. Deeply. But they will also love the parts you think are ugly...the parts you spent your entire life trying to hide. From the world. The parts you even tried to hide from yourself. Well, they see those parts too. And for them, those parts you call broken are just as beloved because, unlike most, they see the thorn beautifies the rose. You won't find many people like them. See, we live in a world of false perfection, and layered masks. A world of people so afraid to let themselves be seen, as they are. People so afraid to love completely, and even more afraid to let themselves be loved. Because deep down they're ashamed of their broken parts. Deep down they think they're not enough. They think they're not worthy. But if you have the courage to be seen and loved--just as you are--you will discover something amazing: You *are* enough.
