"Why do you hate Moffat so much?"
I would link you some posts, but I donât want to spoil, so Iâll try to explain without spoilers eeoo so iâm pulling from others posts and i'll link sources at the endÂ
Fetishizing motherhood and reinforcing patriarchal binaries and hierarchies.  Doctor argues that mothers are âmore than female"âi.e., better thanâthose who are not.  He also asserts that women are better than men, which simply reverses the patriarchal binary and thus evinces a fundamental misunderstanding of what feminism is.Â
Reinforcing patriarchal stereotypes of women being irrational - multiple quotes and quips enforcing this
Demonizing women constantly on Doctor Who, specifically his older female companion that exhibits sex appeal
Moves away from the perspective of the companion (RTD era), and more to the perspective of the Doctor, which is limited and sometimes soulless, in my opinion.Â
Women become more of story lines and plot points than protagonists. They become the foil for the male main character. They exist for the man. (To an extent)
Thinks of himself as a âfeminist", and when heâs called out on it, reacts to it as defamation, and calls the people accusing him of it as sexist.Â
Belittles his fan base, on a rather regular basis, most recent being today.
Called Rose a âneedy girlfriendâ who the doctor dumped in an alternate universe. omgmoffatyouâresofunny
âAnd I thought, âwell sheâs really good. Itâs just a shame sheâs so wee and dumpyâŚWhen she was about to come through to the auditions I nipped out for a minute and I saw Karen walking on the corridor towards me and I realized she was 5â11, slim and gorgeous and I thought âOh, oh thatâll probably workâ.â - Doctor Who Confidential, All About the Girl
Portrayal of one of the companions as a manic pixie dream girl, a problematic hollywood phenomenon
But I still enjoyed a bunch of Doctor Who even with Moffat. Matt Smith is wonderful actor. What a lot of people say is âI like Matt Smithâs Doctor, Not Moffatâs doctor". And the next actor should be the same.  : )
