“The stars, have they always been this beautiful?” Siva pondered aloud as she gazed at the night sky, Lilia close beside her.

In this day and age, the two elder Fae’s can finally sit back and enjoy themselves. Without worrying an ambush will take them by surprise and wipe out their encampment.

Lilia rakes his eyes off of Siva’s features, replacing such a sight with the constellations. All he’s ever seen for his 700 plus years of life has been the reflection of the stars in Siva’s eyes. Until tonight. “I think so. But we could just be getting old and gentle.”

Siva shook her head slowly, picking at the side of her thumb idly. “Perhaps you’re right.”
