#Repost @colvinology No Save Point, a 6.8% double dry hopped New England IPA from Modist Brewing (@modistbrewing) and Run the Jewels (@runthejewels), and the Master Grade MSN-04 Sazabi . Great nose on this one, with juicy aromas of coconut, tangerine, passionfruit, pineapple, and cut grass.The flavor is a spectacular mix of bitter and juicy, combining what seem at first to be two disparate flavor palates into one cohesive whole. You're first hit with a burst of tropical fruit (primarily pineapple and passionfruit), which is quickly joined by a distinct grassiness and orange pith bitterness. Neither profile goes away or even diminishes throughout the sip, and it leads to something akin to just...mixing a west coast IPA with a hazy. That assessment ignores the real genius of this brew though. You see, right at the finish, where you would expect those old school bitter notes to dig in and linger, they simply vanish. The juiciness sticks around just a bit longer, but that also fades almost completely between sips giving the powerful and lasting impression of a beautifully crafted and thoughtfully designed brew. Everything fits together absolutely perfectly. Anyway this is awesome, and Run the Jewels kicks ass . Say what you want about those (sometimes objectively terrible) Sazabi hands, but when it comes to things like this, there's really no substitute. I kind of want Bandai to sell both fixed and articulable hand types for MG kits...and maybe standardize the wrist connections while they're at it? I can dream, right?
