Ash would love to look into Seris’ eyes when they kiss! Despite her usual forwardness, she knows that Seris’ blindfold means something and so hasn’t worked up the courage to ask… but she plans to, one day.

Seris likes to run her fingers through Ash’s hair, especially after she’s dyed it a new color. Sometimes, they will coordinate Ash’s hair dye and Seris’ hood.

Hand holding? Hand holding. Ash’s hand is large enough to have her index finger touch her thumb if she holds Seris’ wrist.

Ash asked Seris out first… in the middle of a battle. On opposite teams. Seris’ front line was dead, Ash was busy trying to get her off the point, it slipped out.

Both of them got ribbed endlessly for that.

For their one-month anniversary, Ash wanted to make something special for Seris… so she made her a mixtape! She spent hours over days picking out songs that she thought Seris would like as well as songs that were her own favorites.

This is how they discover their shared taste in types of music. Heavy Metal.

This also means that when they have to clean, one of them will fire up the tunes and they’ll putter around their bunks singing and cleaning. Who’s going to tell them to stop? Nobody who values their life.

Ash can carry Seris around if she so chooses, and since Seris runs around barefoot(!) on all sorts of surfaces during battles, oftentimes Ash will carry her to give her poor feet a rest.

Cassie is interested in Kinessa’s teleporters, but doesn’t necessarily like the sensation of going through one– having her body disassembled and put back together reminds her of respawn, only much faster and less pleasant

Kinessa will use the teleporters to drop behind Cassie and give her a peck on the cheek. It would be cute if it weren’t so startling…

Ziggs will perch on Kinessa’s rifle when it’s in sniper mode! Cassie thinks it’s adorable. Kinessa puts up with it because Cassie has a cute smile and an even cuter laugh.

They once switched weapons on the training grounds just to see what it was like. It was… Enlightening, to say the least.

Kinessa does NOT like the crossbow. Does not like shooting it, does not like handling it, does not like getting shot by it. She has a healthy apprehension of the thing.

Cassie loves to show off for Kinessa. Anybody, really, but Kinessa most of all.

They bond over making fun of Fernando. 

AshxSeris

Ash initiated, and the next day she and Seris went on a date at Serpent Beach. Picnic, swimming, some stargazing! It was pretty romantic and sappy. Ash was surprised to find herself enjoying it, and Seris enjoyed the wooing.

Seris isn’t dry and humorless, as Ash found out. Unfortunately, the way she found out was by trying to Shoulder Bash Seris off of Frog Isle, Seris Shadow Traveling safely out of the way, and Ash taking an impromptu bath.

The first time they properly shared a bed/slept together Ash had trouble falling asleep because she kept looking at Seris (sleeping like the dead) and thinking THAT’S MY GIRLFRIEND!! THAT’S MY

AshxMaeve

Maeve has a vested interest in Ash’s hair dye. She can and has stolen some and attempted to go, in order: red, green, blue, orange, platinum. Ash was kind of angry when she found out, but really? It was too cute. Now all Maeve has to do is ask, and Ash will help her.

Taking some headcanons I’ve seen and our trans Ash headcanons into consideration, Maeve and Ash have a close and supportive relationship with each other. Ash has been in this rodeo longer than Maeve has and she knows the best tips to ease dysphoria.

MaevexKinessa (Due to Maeve’s age being ambiguous but young, these will be mostly platonic!)

One-sided: Kinessa, in her sniper’s nest, has plenty of time to watch Maeve bounce around the battlefield. She admires Maeve’s grace… and her uncanny knowledge when she’s being watched. Too many times, she’s been ready to take a shot only for Maeve to turn and look at her, right down the scope. (Doesn’t stop her from shooting!)

Maeve, of all people, knows Kinessa’s bad habit of tunnel vision when she’s totally focused within the bounds of her scope. Maeve is not at all against taking advantage of that for a quick kill.

Maeve developed a precocious crush on Kinessa! Unfortunately, she’s also the type to gently bully the ones she loves. Non-gently. Really quite mean, actually.

Evie and Maeve are relatively close! Evie will let Maeve tag along on staff rides, and Maeve has tried to teach Evie how to throw knives.

Skye likes to think she’s ‘hip with the kids’. She is not. Maeve and Evie bemusedly put up with her, but at the same time harbor raging crushes on her? Evie, mostly. Also: Skye is definitely a meme.

Skye has a nice singing voice. Unfortunately, Evie tries to goad her into singing cheesy campfire songs. This usually ends up with Maeve singing to get her to join in, Evie gleefully mocking Maeve’s accent, and Skye laughing at the both of them.

Howdy! I’m guessing this is meant to be an ask encouraging some headcanons, so me and mod mod impaler arrow whipped some up.

It took Ash longer than most tocome around to the idea that she was, in fact a girl. She danced around theidea for quite some time, because she believed that if she ‘really was a girl’she wouldn’t be interested in going to war, armor, brawling, you know…traditionallymasculine stuff. Basically, she needed to actually take the time toself-reflect. She’s definitely the kind of person who is more action orientedand in the moment but…things had to come to a head at some point. This occurredin her late teens before she went about joining the armies and becoming thesiege machine we know today. As is characteristic of her, once she wasconfident in who she was and what her decision was going to be, she was quickto tell those closest to her. I think they’d be supportive.

Now, I know physical transitionisn’t terribly as important to being trans as a lot of people think, but it isan interesting line of thought to consider how this process works in the realm. You know, given the existence of magic, futuristic technology, and mysterious energyholding crystals. But hey, look; if Pip can turn people into chickens there’ssomething that can transmogrify someone’s junk.

…Okay, I apologize, back ontopic:

Honestly, Ash is prettycomfortable in her own skin. When you’re as strong and armored as she is,people tend to take your word for whatever you say. She holds a prettycommanding figure too. Is her relationship to femininity a bit complicated?Well, yeah, that’s definitely a thing. She’s not opposed to being feminine onprinciple; she wears some of the markers that she likes. The slight curves andthe detail work on her armor for example, or the way she wears her hair,slightly longer and dyed red. But, that’s the key thing here: it’s just anotherpart of the whole of who she is. She’s a very raw, real person.

She’s very open and honest andhas that sort of confidence about herself that is so very, very, Ash.
