Imi-Taters are crashing the Tater-Tots 60th Anniversary party! This is one of the Tater Tots ads film that we were involved with.
In this project, our responsibility was the tater tots costumes and the small props like the crowd control posts and the clipboard.
The concept was to use the real tater tots and dress them as the "Imi-Taters". As it can be seen, the costumes and wigs were fairly small and had to fit the tater tots. The challenge was to make them look as real as possible while keeping the size and the shape suitable for the tater tots.
This fun job was produced by the agency in Chicago, Cramer-Krasselt, and was collaborative with mode project. Mode project is a production company who offers service in animation, stop motion, live-action production, design, and much more. They have some very cool projects on their portfolio.
We did have another project with the same concept, which was mentioned in the online article on The New York Times. I personally cannot wait to see this version, I’m sure it will be as fun as this film!
